Juan & Felicity

Juan and Felicity’s romance started with a blind date. They worked together but weren’t really acquainted until a coworker who was a mutual friend set them up. At the time, Juan was planning on packing up and moving back to California. He’d already purchased his plane ticket and told his mom he was coming home, but then he met Felicity and plans changed! Instead, he put down roots here with Felicity, and they spent the last ten years raising their girls and building a life they love. 

Their proposal was certainly memorable - memorable funny, not memorable romantic. Felicity came home early from work and Juan wasn’t home. She called to see what he was doing and he said he was at home. As she was sitting in their driveway at that moment, she knew this wasn’t true. Uh oh. Red flag. Busted. Turns out he was picking up her engagement ring, and she threw a wrench in his plans. He couldn’t come up with a cover story on the fly so he ultimately told her what he’d been up to and gave her the ring.
